Grabbing the gear lever in your car is a great feeling, except when your knob isn't comfortable. We wanted to develop a knob that was not only lightweight and great looking but also fit into the palm of your hand comfortably. After countless designs and 3d prints later, we chose the overall shape based on the best ergonomic design from all of the concepts we had developed so far. The Maxim Shift knob is machined from a solid 6061 aluminum billet round bar in a four-axis lathe.

We then treat the surface with a proprietary sandblasting media to get a perfect surface finish. Next, it is treated to a 3 step anodizing process.

Finally, we laser etch the fitment size and logos with a YAG laser that evaporates the dye from the anodize resulting in a crisp white logo that is subtly placed on the knob so not to detract from the fantastic finish. All of this combined results in an incredible fit and finish that is a joy to look at while maintaining the strength necessary for spirited driving. Want to swap out the stock knob in your car but hate having a saggy shift boot? Our two-piece shift boot collar replaces your factory piece, which works with stock or aftermarket shift knobs.

The stainless steel center section threads onto any M10x1.5 rod and clips to the aluminum collar. Easy install that looks great with all shift knobs!

Machined to exact tolerances and specifications, our Maxim Shift Boot Collar shines above all others. Use a 17mm wrench to tighten the collar against any flat bottom shift knob. Available in anodized aluminum, machined stainless steel, or Titanium!

Three-stage finish with anodizing or Machined Delrin. 162g weight or 103g (Delrin). All the colors are now available in one place!
